Uploaded again after some changes to shorten filenames and update a couple tags.
2012/03/01 Update:
This is a re-upload of Teldec's excellent Bach collection, Bach 2000. The previous upload had issues with missing tags, which have been fixed and completed. The filenames have also been cleaned up and reorganized. These files were converted from FLAC to MP3 using Foobar2000.

There are really two versions of Bach's complete works worth considering: Hanssler's modern renditions, and Bach 2000, released in commemoration of 250 years of the composers death.
The premise behind the Bach 2000 is that the pieces are played by period instruments to create the closest approximations to what Bach would have been imagining and hearing.
I realise this is another monster torrent, one for the Bach fan's, really, unless you value culture and have a forgiving ratio.
It has been mentioned by a reviewer that as the works were played to sound as close to what Bach would have wanted, for the Cantatas they have used boys choirs. The reviewer states this does not produce a favourable outcome, and he prefers the Suzuki or Koopman.
This is possibly the only negative aspect in a wonderful, remarkable collection.
Similar to the Complete Philips Mozart Edition, each Bach 2000 disc was converted from single CD ape files to individual flac's. Yes, this took a LOOOONG time, especially renaming the individual files for whole volumes which were unnamed. The log's and original cue sheets are left, if you want them. Booklets and disc covers and present.
